What other limitations should I consider?

Florida has no county registration fee for private cars on the state rate chart. Some county tax collectors and online renewal vendors charge their own convenience or mail fees, which vary and are not included. Electric and hybrid vehicles pay the same license tax as gas vehicles (§320.08001); no EV surcharge is in the 2026 statutes. Two-year renewals and sales tax on purchases are not modeled. Specialty plate fees vary and are not included.
