State guides use registration agency pages and official fee schedules. Every fee in the table links to its source, and each guide includes a sources list.
A date, not a promise of permanence
“Last verified” identifies the date attached to the researched fee schedule. Fees and local rules can change after that date. Check the linked agency for the amount due today.
Estimates you can inspect
The calculator itemizes the fees in the guide. It applies the listed rules to your inputs, separates optional and one-time charges, and checks a worked example when the site is built.
The estimate covers only the published schedule in that guide. It may exclude taxes, penalties, local assessments or circumstances the schedule does not model. It is not an official payment quote.
Only verified guides are published
Draft state data stays unpublished. A state must include a summary, official source links, a verification date and a matching calculator example before its guide can be built.
